As we finish up this difficult year, our latest Paddock Pass podcast looks ahead to next season and gathers some insight into life within the SMRC marshalling team and the high-pressure role of the safety car driver within race meetings.

They share some unique insight into their journey into motorsport and why being part of the marshalling team is such an enjoyable and rewarding experience. In particular, Alan explains what it’s like to have the front row seat for all SMRC events as Safety Car driver and Heather explains how she opportunely stumbled into marshalling and how others can join the team too.
