Chairman Update

Dear All

I write to inform you that I have resigned my role as Chairman and Director of the SMRC with immediate effect.

When I became chairman, I wanted to dedicate my time and energy to move the club in the modern direction. Unfortunately, due to changes in my personal life, I am unable to give the time that the club and the members need and deserve.

I would like to nominate Vice Chairman Nic Boyes to step up to the role as chairman until the board can appoint another director, and formally appoint a new Chair.

I would like to take the opportunity to thank the club and everyone that has given support to me during my time as a director.

I give my best wishes to the Directors, members of the advisory committee and the rest of the club my best wishes in taking the SMRC into the future.
