Event Format

The race meeting on Sunday will run to a full day format. All Championships will have a 15-minute qualifying session and will enjoy slightly extended races, as follows:

FF1600, Fiesta, C1 & Classics – 2x 20-minute races
MINI Cooper Cup & MINI Cooper S – 2x 20-minute races
MINI Cooper Cup only (reverse grid race 3) – 1x 15-minute race

Formula Ford 1600 & All Comers race

After some discussions with our Formula Ford drivers it became apparent that there wasn’t going to be sufficient support to make a standalone Formula Ford event feasible at Cadwell Park. However, for those Scottish Formula Ford drivers who are still keen to have the opportunity to race at an away round, we will be putting up a ‘Top Scot’ Trophy for drivers racing at the National Formula Ford event at Oulton Park on the same weekend. If you would like to enter this event, click here to do so via the BRSCC website.

With some additional space in the timetable, we are pleased to announce the addition of a new ‘All comers’ race at the end of the day. This is intended to be a fun multi class race for drivers across all our championships with a performance levelling system put in place to give people from all classes and championships a realistic chance of winning the race. There will be a 20 minute qualifying session first thing in the morning, followed by a 15 lap race at the end of the day  to crown the SMRC King or Queen of Cadwell Park. The entry fee for this race will be £100, and we will release full details on regulations for this race within the next few days.

Passes & Spectators

All drivers will get 4 passes (driver + 3) with their entry (these will be in the form of e-tickets). Additional passes can be purchased from the MSV website

As COVID-19 regulations have been relaxed in England, the paddock and spectator areas will not be segregated for this event (assuming there are no changes to Government / Motorsport UK guidance in the interim).
