At 49 years old, Pete is proving that it’s never too late to chase a lifelong dream. Working for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, Pete has served at multiple stations across Fife and Central Scotland. Now, he’s swapping fire trucks for race cars, taking on the Scottish C1 Cup.
What makes this journey even more special is that Pete isn’t doing it alone—his 16-year-old son, a budding mechanic, is right beside him in the paddock. With support from his son's workplace, SM Autos, Pete has spent the winter building his race car from the ground up at his home base in Fife.
Now ready to hit the track, Pete is embracing every moment of this incredible father-son adventure, proving that racing isn’t just about speed—it’s about passion, dedication, and making memories that will last a lifetime.
