SMRC To Host National Formula Ford At Season Opener
We’re delighted to announce that we will be welcoming the BRSCC National Formula Ford Championship to the opening round of our 2021 Season on 6th June, which will also play host to the prestigious David Leslie Trophy race.
Coronavirus restrictions were set to impact the start of the national championship season, leading to a calendar reshuffle and this addition to our opening meeting of the year at Knockhill. The national championship will join our Scottish Formula Ford Championship grid for this event, which should provide a bumper entry and will be a fantastic way to start off the 2021 season.
The event will feature two 20-minute races for Formula Ford, the second of which will see drivers battle for the annual David Leslie Trophy in addition to Scottish and national championship points.
