The season may be postponed but the race must go on!
After the phenomenally successful Spring Championship the SMRC eSports Championship keeps the racing going on PS4 and Xbox. The Championship continues on Project Cars 2 with the Ginetta G40 GT5 as competitors face the challenge of circuits from around the globe. For the Endurance Race where better to drive than the famous Circuit de la Sarthe home of the Le Mans 24 Hours where drivers will hop into a 2015 Aston Martin Vantage GTE where they will hope to emulate Jonny Adam’s victory from 2017. There are some great prizes on offer for the top 3 places in the Championship:-
1st – Knockhill Gold Pass & Torq Racewear Gloves
2nd – Track Scotland Trackday
3rd – SMRC Season Pass
In order to take part, all drivers need to take out a ‘SMRC Summer Esports membership’, priced at £27.50 (or £20 for current fully paid SMRC members). This fee is to cover the costs of streaming and administration of the championship. As with the Spring Championship, all the qualifying rounds and finals will be live streamed by David Christie of Camber Media, meaning your friends and family can watch you in action as the races happen.
Drivers will need to comply with the Championship Rules which can be found in the “Rules” tab to the left of this screen.

- A PS4 or Xbox Console
- A wheel and pedals add to the immersion but you can have just as much fun with a trusty old controller!
- The desire to win and a fair competitive spirit

Joining a Project Cars 2 Lobby.
The heats will take place between 6-9pm on Wednesday.
PS4 Heats are scheduled for the following times:
Heat 1: 6:00pm
Heat 2: 6:30pm
Xbox Heats are scheduled for the following times:
Heat 1: 7:00pm
Heat 2: 7:30pm
Heat 3: 8:00pm
