Our Rising Stars programme aims to support up and coming drivers within the club and Scottish karting. Re-launched for 2020, the programme sees a number of drivers selected each year who are showing potential to succeed in the sport. The selected drivers benefit from some bespoke workshops on subjects such as fitness and nutrition and sponsorship, as well as benefitting from sessions on the club simulator.

There will be an annual application process for drivers to become a SMRC Rising Star. However, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the 2020 Rising stars have not benefitted from their full support package, so their support is continuing into 2021 and a new cohort will be selected for the 2022 season.
